In 2021, I founded and operated an art gallery on the Lower East Side of Manhattan called SPANTZO. The mission of the gallery was to support the creative expression of outsider artists who, like me, bridged the gap between traditional media and digital media. I curated seven shows in this space which was located at 138 Eldridge Street, a former fish market. I also participated in the SPRING BREAK Art Fair that year. I am currently writing my doctoral dissertation which examines the role that alternative art spaces play in the education of artists at a time when exhibition was not possible. You can learn more about the SPANTZO project at the main website which includes more images of the exhibitions as well as statements about the aims of each show.
