Teaching
These selected projects represent the teaching I’ve done as a full-time art and design professor, as well as earlier work in after-school and community settings. Some, like Achromatic Design or Chromatic Triptych, come from my Intro to Art & Design courses at SUNY, while others, like Motion Graphics or Video Production, span multiple institutions over the years. I’ve also designed project-based experiences in public schools, such as murals and collaborative benchmarks. Across these contexts, my focus has stayed consistent: to create classrooms — in person and online — that are collaborative, experimental, and grounded in mutual respect. My goal is to help students see design not only as a technical skill but as a shared human practice, rooted in imagination, dignity, and connection.
